Morbid yet Adorable: Cult of the Lamb Review

Morbid yet Adorable: Cult of the Lamb Review

When I first learned of this game (Cult of the Lamb) from TikTok, I knew this game was going to be perfect for me. It's slightly morbid/dark yet incredibly adorable. You play as a lamb that has been saved by a god, but in exchange, you must build a cult and defeat several Bishops who originally tried to kill you. In order to defeat these Bishops, you have to level up your cult by maintaining their faith, hunger, and health in order to gain their devotion that can be used to purchase stronger weapons and spells.…

Reading Guide for the Ruby Dixon Universe

Reading Guide for the Ruby Dixon Universe

Ruby Dixon has a lot of books released and a good majority of them are connected. Now, I haven't read a good majority of these (all the Risdaverse books) as they just didn't interest me at the time. But some of those characters do make appearances in the rest of the universe. This universe is expanding with another spin-off series for the Ice Planet, Not-Hoth, and more books in the Corsairs series, so I'm sure it's going to be more back and forth. But as of September 2022 here is how the books connect as far as the timeline goes. …

Books Series I Loved but can’t Recall the Plot of

I have read a lot of book series in my life, some of them I can recall in perfect detail, and others I couldn't tell you the first thing about if you asked me to discuss the plot. So, I thought I would share some of those series today. As previously stated, I have no memory of any of the plots, so discussing them should be fascinating.…

My Thoughts on the Off-Campus Series by Elle Kennedy

My Thoughts on the Off-Campus Series by Elle Kennedy

I have said it many times, I'm not a massive fan of 'real-life' books. I typically need some element of fantasy or sci-fi. Though the occasional mafia or gang book will sneak their way in as that's so outside of my daily life that I find them enjoyable. But college or sports romance is usually within that realm of books I avoid. But when the first book of the Off-Campus series by Elle Kennedy was on sale for Kindle at the great low price of free, I said heck it. I remembered Angelika Oles mentioning it on her book channel during her book tour, so I thought I would give it a try.…

Looking Back at August 2022

Looking Back at August 2022

This month was a busy one. Things kicked off at work (i.e. finished my main training and started supporting customers), a bunch of family events, a work trip, and more teeth work. I don't think I had a single week where I didn't have something going on. So, this post is probably going to be a bit long as I look back at everything that happened in the last month.…

I Read All Released Books in Icehome Series by Ruby Dixon

I Read All Released Books in Icehome Series by Ruby Dixon

After reading Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon, I initially wasn't going to read the spin-off series called Icehome but I found myself reading all 16 books that have been released as of June 2022. There are two more still coming. Similar to the first series, each book takes place from a different couple's perspective. There is some overlap between the stories are characters are separated or relationships happen at the same time. Not to mention, there is also overlap with the main series, and characters from there make appears throughout the Icehome series. But you don't have to read that series in order to read this one.…

My Thoughts on A Duel with the Vampire Lord (Married to Magic, Book 3) by Elise Kova

My Thoughts on A Duel with the Vampire Lord (Married to Magic, Book 3) by Elise Kova

Elise Kova always writes good books. I have loved every other book in the Married to Magic series by this author, so when I found out she was releasing another one I was so excited about it. Especially when I heard it was a Beauty and the Beast, and a vampire book in the series. Sign me up! Those are two of my favorite things. Even if it's been done a lot, I always like to see new takes on it.…

The Boston Travel Diaries: Oh the Things You’ll Eat

I hemmed and hawed over whether or not to make a post on the places we went to eat to. Mainly as we only when out for dinner and I didn’t take any pictures the first day as I was too exhausted from the plane ride to do so. But heck it, what’s one missing picture?!…
