We all find inspiration from somewhere when we are making paintings, makeup looks, fashion style, blog posts, or videos that get posted to YouTube. It can be anything from a favorite blogger or YouTuber, or something from nature of a movie. We gather things here and there that make up what our favorite subjects are. I find inspiration in many different places. For my paintings, I find inspiration from nature. I love painting flowers, mountains, trees, and landscapes. I find it to be my favorite subject matter. Not that I don’t enjoy other items, but if I gave a paint brush it generally ends up becoming something that can be found in nature. For my blog and YouTube channel I find inspiration from others. Thought I always try to post a link to and reference where I got my inspiration from if the idea was not originally my own. As I do not want to copy someone else’s work or idea. Some of the people that have inspired me to do YouTube videos and start a blog back in January of 2015 are:
- Jenna Marbles for her sass and openness to who she is. I’ve found my sass is very similar to hers and it’s ok to express it within the right context. Or just throw it in for just a bit of fun.
- Zoe Sugg, or Zoella, for her similar taste in beauty. I find myself trying on similar products and doing my makeup in a similar fashion to hers on a daily basis.
- Mykie from Glam & Gore, for trying things out of the box. She does amazing FX Makeup looks and other looks as well that pulled me away from always doing a nude makeup look. So I’ve been trying things more dramatic every now and then.
- nigahiga, the YouTube channel that first inspired me to make a video for YouTube. And yes, the video that was inspired by one of his is still up on YouTube. Not on my main channel but on my previous one that I shared with my old best friend… which got linked to my personal Google+ account. But I’m not sharing that, if you want to find it then it’ll be a treasure hunt. Name is “How to be Prep”. Happy hunting. But now he inspires me to put more preparation into my videos to make them the best quality possible for my wonderful viewers.
Who are some people that inspire you? I would love to hear about it.
Have a wonderful day!
