My Lightweight Foundation Solution

I love full coverage, but I hate feeling like I have a lot of makeup on my face that heavy or leaves me feeling like I’m covered in cake. But I don’t want to compromise for a lighter coverage just to avoid that feeling. So began my quest for the light weight full coverage foundation that also looks natural. It took several months but I finally found two foundations that do the trick, one being a drugstore option and the other being more high end.

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation, shade=Mont Blanc

When I want the more dewy finish, I go for the higher end product when is the Nars Sheer Glow Weightless Foundation in Monte Blanc. I heard about this from a variety of YouTubers and decided I wanted to give it a go myself as I wasn’t happy with my previous foundation. And I have been happy with it ever since as I get the coverage I want, don’t feel like on my face throughout the day, lasts the entire day, and looks completely natural.

L’Oreal Paris Cosmetics Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation Makeup, Classic Ivory

About two weeks after I got the Nars foundation, I was drugstore makeup shopping because there are always dups or nice products if you do a little testing. And many of my favorite products are still drugstore items. One of the foundations I picked up just to test out to see if there was any difference to the Nars was the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in No. 101 Classic Ivory in the Demi-Matte finish. It does have a matte finish but still looks natural as it’s not the full matte version.

Both of these foundations I blend in with a beauty blender as I found it looks more natural than with my foundation brushes.
