NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick Review

I received my first NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in my March Ipsy Glambag and fell in love with the formula. Mainly because I can put the lipstick on wait a few seconds for it to dry then I can drink or eat anything without it coming off. So I went and purchased a few additional shades for myself. As I wasn’t the hugest fan of the color I received. It’s a gorgeous hot pink, but that’s not really my color.

Each lipstick cost $6.99 at Ulta and is 0.13 fl. oz. And there are twelve shades in total including some purple ones and a stone tone lipstick. Those aren’t colors I would typically wear unless I was creating a look so I did not purchase these ones. The others were sold out at the time when I went to Ulta. But they are available online.

The shades that I got were, in the order of the swatches above:

  • Tea & Cookies – Blush/Pinky nude
  • Soft-Spoken – Light nude
  • Life’s a Beach – Coral
  • Orange County – Orange
  • Pink Lust – Hot Pink
  • Cherry Skies – Dark Red

Additional Shades available in this collection:

  • Vintage – Bright Red
  • Kitten Heels – Burgundy
  • Sway – Lavender
  • Amethyst – Purple
  • Stone Fox – Gray
  • Sandstorm – Dark Nude

These shades do dry matte but do have a satin/semi-matte finish. I found the dry time to be around a minute to two minutes. A huge plus besides not coming off when drinking or eating is that they are lightweight and do not feel very drying on the lips. I have seen that the shade lasts around eight hours through meals and drinks.

What do you think of the NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks? I would love to hear about it or any other cream lipsticks you enjoy in the comments.
