Hello everybody, hope you are all have a brilliant day. I’m enjoying a ten days off of work. I was supposed to be going on a cruise but that unfortunately got canceled, so now I’m having a staycation. But I don’t want to just sit around the house doing nothing for ten days. So these are some of the things I’m going to be doing on my staycation that anyone could honestly do.
1. Go to the Museum
As I live in Minnesota the museums that I’m going to be going to are the Walker Art Center and the Minnesota science museum. I have been wanted to go back to these museums for years but haven’t managed to find time to go do that so this vacation, I’m doing exactly that. There are also some virtual museums so I might “take” some of those. Ones I’ve seen so far are: Smithsonian Natural History Museum, the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, the Boston Children’s Museum, Louvre in Paris, and the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican in Rome.
2. Go to the Movies
There are so many movies that I want to go see that I honestly haven’t managed to make time for. Such as Deadpool, The Revenant, and Risen. So I’m going to a bunch of movies this vacation.
3. Go to the Zoo or Aquarium
There are two major zoos in the Twin Cities and an aquarium in Mall of America. I’m not sure which I’m going to, but I’m definitely planning on going to one of them.
4. Create your own Art
I have painting and have several blank canvas that could use from love. Plus it’s a cheap activity that I can take my time on and enjoy the day.
5. Visit a spa or give Yourself a Makeover
I’ve been debating on dying my hair fashion colors for months so this staycation I’m going to do it. Haven’t 100% made up my mind on what color while I’m writing this post but whatever I end up doing is going to be awesome.
6. Host a game night
I’m planning on playing a lot of my favorite games these next days. It’s cheap and hilarious. Especially if we’re playing Cards Against Humanity.
