Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette Review

Advertisements

I went through my wishlist the other day and decided to get a bunch of the more luxury items before I put myself on a more restrictive budget so I can save up to buy a lot of furniture to replace old pieces I’ve had since I was three. The Hourglass Ambient Lightening Palette is $62 at Sephora.

The palette includes three shades called Dim Light, Incandescent Light, and Radiant Light.

Dim Light is a neutral peach beige powder with a subtle satin shimmer. It blends out like a dream but doesn’t look too much like a highlighter on my skin so it’s more of a finishing powder for me. Which is perfect in the summer as it makes me look like I have a little bit of a glow while blurring out any imperfections.

Incandescent Light which is a very light beige with a soft ivory shimmer. This gives the perfect highlight on my cheekbones without emphasizing pores or making my skin appear oily as I have found with other highlighters.

Radiant Light is a gorgeous golden beige powder. On my skin this is rather dark so this would be better for those with medium or deeper complexions.
