As Tarte was the first non-drug store brand I ever tried, it has a little special place in my little beauty heart. So when I this palette, I wanted it in my collection. Especially as it would be the perfect day to night look since it includes a blush, highlighter, bronzer, and six eyeshadows. If you were travelling and only wanted to bring one palette along with you to keep the makeup to a minimum, then this is the perfect item to grab.
I got this palette at Ulta for $40. But it is also available at Sephora. This is supposed to be a limited edition palette from Tarte, but has been out since 2014 apparently.
Highlighter in Champagne, Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess™, Blush in Unleashed (nude rose), eyeshadows in: Bare to Explore (pink beige), Make a Mauve (plum mauve), Plum Away with Me (dark plum), Up to No Gold (gold), Tan-gled Up in You (tan), and Don’t Turn A-Brown (dark brown).
Swatch
From top to bottom: Highlighter in Champagne, Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess™, Blush in Unleashed (nude rose), eyeshadows in: Bare to Explore (pink beige), Make a Mauve (plum mauve), Plum Away with Me (dark plum), Up to No Gold (gold), Tan-gled Up in You (tan), and Don’t Turn A-Brown (dark brown).
Overall, I think this is a good palette if you wanted just one palette to cover everything. And it’s perfect if you’re on the go. I didn’t see any patching or streaking so this palette far exceeded by expectations.
