GlossyBox : January 2016 Edition

Another month of one of my favorite subscription boxes. I typically love everything that come in these boxes and they end up on my season favorites. Which I think I'm going to end up doing a monthly favorite this time because my list is growing rather large this year.

The thing I love most about GlossyBox is how elegant the packaging is with the crinkle streamers, black ribbon around the tissue paper that hold all the items inside. It just feels like you're getting something high quality. And yes some of it may be sample size, but it's better to try something out first to figure out what you like then having buyer's remorse is my opinion. Granted I've never had that feeling towards anything I get sent from GlossyBox.

This month's picks were:

This is made from milk proteins and lactic acid to exfoliate and moisturize your skin. Milk has been used in ancient spa treatments. A fun tid bit is that Cleopatra used to soak in baths of donkey's milk with rose petals. The full size is 1.25 oz and costs $14.

Full size is 1.2 Fl. Oz. and costs $29. This primer is supposed to be used to give you a natural glow either from underneath your foundation or by itself. It is tinted, I included a swatch of it above for you. It is not as lightweight as other primers that I have tried in the past. But I could definitely leave this as is as it matches my skin tone.

Next item I got was the sample size of Beautiful Nutrition Lemon Rinse Gentle Clarifying Treatment. The full size is 13.3 fl oz and costs $10. You use this once a week after shampooing and conditioning applying from the roots down to tips in order to repair dull and damaged hair. Leave in for 30 seconds then rinse out.

Made from water from the Dead Sea and aloe vera leaf juice, this cream helps heal dry and cracked soles. My feet somehow are always soft, so I'm going to let my mom try this one out since she needs it more than me. But if you suffer from dry or cracked feet in the winter the full size bottom is 3.4 fl oz and is $16.

Last item I got was this lipstick from MeMeMe. I love the apricot-hue and it has a lovely satin finish. I did a swatch of this one as well as the outside isn't revealing of it's gorgeous color. One of these is $12.50.

If you would love to try this out yourself, GlossyBox is only $20 per month and you get five items in every box.  As well as an instruction card about the products.
