Top Used Eye Liners: Liquid, Gel, and Pencil

In continuation of my mini-series of my top 3 used products, today I'm focusing on my eye liner. Because I love to do different style every day and depending on that day, I use a different eyeliner. So I'm picking out one of my favorites in each of the categories: liquid, gel, and pencil.

Liquid eyeliner is long-lasting, precise for cat eyes on the upper lid. However you will have to pair it with a pencil or eyeliner if you want to do your tight line or water line. If you're starting out with makeup, I would avoid this one as it requires a steady hand. But my favorite liquid eyeliners to use at the moment are: Rimmel London Glam'Eyes Liquid Liner, Rimmel London Exaggerate Eye Liner, L'Oreal Paris the Infallible Blackbuster Liquid Eyeliner, and Eyeko London Fat Liquid Eye Liner.

Gel eyeliner is probably the one I use the most as you can use it like a liquid eyeliner or a pencil eyeliner. But you have to have two items rather than just one to get this one to work out. You also need to make sure to clean the brush right away after use and make sure the jar is sealed or it will dry out. My go to gel eyeliner at the moment is: Rimmel London Gel Eyeliner.

For pencil eyeliner is my go to for anything that needs a smudged look, such as a smoky eye. I find this doesn't last as long as a liquid or gel eyeliner so I don't use it as frequently. But when I do I typically use: theBalm Mr. Write (Now) in Jac, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, and Covergirl Liquilineblast.

Some of my favorite looks to do with eyeliner are the following:

Cat eye or Winged liner

Heavy look top and bottom

Heavy on top, thin on bottom
