For the Spring I went through my entire closet and got rid of about half of everything I had as it was either not my style or didn't fit me anymore. But this left me with pretty much just blazers and sweaters. So I went shopping at some of my favorite places and bought quite a few things to add to my wardrobe.
The first place I went to was Maurice's where I got four tops: an over-sized flannel shirt, two over-sized shirt dresses in both tan stripe and black, and a loose white blouse with a black bird. I also picked up four solid tank tops in the colors: black, white, grey, and beige.
Next I went to my favorite online fashion warehouse and purchased three items using a 40% off code that they have available at the time. They were a plaid blanket scarf, a two piece denim and grey hooded boyfriend jacket, and a paint splattered white dress. The paint splatter dress comes in many different designs and I'm seriously tempted to buy a few of them as there's a guitar, floral, and butterfly versions of this same dress. But I thought the paint splatter was something I would wear more often.
I just discovered this online store. And ended up getting three pairs of shoes as my shoe collection was lacking on both boots and heels. So I got myself three different pairs of shoes.
The first pair of shoes are a beige rhinestone ankle boot with stiletto heels that come with an attachable section to make them go up to the knee. Making them perfect to wear in the spring, summer and fall. As I can attach the second part in the colder months or remove it during the warmer seasons. This shoe also comes in black. I will probably wear it the majority of the time without the attachment section.
The next pair of shoes I got were a pair of black platform stiletto heel boots that have studded belts in the front. On the website they are categorized as evening/party/honeymoon boots but I honestly will end up wearing this practically every day at my IT job.
The last pair of shoes that I got were also a black pair of platform heels that have cross straps. These will probably become reserved for nights out or when I'm dressing up for a day at the office. I was debating on getting them in red but ended up going with black as I knew I could pair them up with more outfits that way.
