The very first eyeshadow palette that I ever got that wasn't something that cost $5 at the drugstore was Tarte Tarlette. So when I saw they came out with Tarte Tartelette In Bloom, I had to get it. Which took me a while to find as my local Ulta and Sephora were both sold out of it. Same goes for shopping online. So when I finally saw this at Mall of America, it quickly found it's way into the check out line and into my makeup collection.
And I am in love with the shades in this palette. The swatches below do not give them justice. One thing I did notice is that the darker shades were a little patchy but the rest were perfection.
The twelve warm, neutral-hued shades costs $45.
Charmer is a very light biege with a matte finish.
Flower Child is a light-medium peach with a matte finish.
Funny Girl is a light-medium gold with orange undertones and a frosted sheen.
Jetsetter is a medium-dark brown with a matte finish.
Smarty Pants is a medium brown with orange undertones and a matte finish.
Sweetheart is a muted, medium peachy-orange with a matte finish. It is more a lot harder to build coverage with this shade compared to the others.
Rocker is a medium-dark taupe with a frosted sheen.
Firecracker is a medium-dark, bronzy brown and a golden copper frost. This one is my favorite shade of the palette.
Rebel is a muted, medium-dark red-brown with orange undertones and a matte finish.
Smokeshow is a deep, blackened brown with a matte finish. This one did become patchy on me as you can kind of see in the swatch.
Activist is a muted, dark brown with cool red tones and a matte finish. This shade did apply unevenly and look patchy.
Leader is a dark, red-toned brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. Again this one did not apply evenly.
