May flew by, I'm not sure it was the chaos of moving into a townhouse with two of my best friends or there was just a lot of other things going on. But I definitely tried some new things and played around with different makeup styles and techniques, so I have several beauty favorites and a few other items.
The first thing I fell in love with this month is Tarte Tarlette In Bloom eyeshadow palette especially the shades: Firecracker, Funny Girl, Rebel, and Leader. For bronzer, I have to go with Benefit Cosmetics Hoola that I got in my Birchbox this month. From my Ipsy Glambag, I fell in love with IT Cosmetics No-Tug Waterproof gel liner and Smashbox X-Rated Mascara. To set my makeup I've been loving Coola makeup setting spray with SPF 30, green tea, and aloe that came in my Birchbox. And lastly Neutrogena Hydrating Makeup remover cleansing towelette.
For my birthday, my sister got me four different chokers from Forever 21. And I love wearing them. One of them is basically identical to one I used to wear non-stop from the time I was eight to the time I was seventeen. And lastly I have been loving some killer black heel boots with studded belts. They make any outfit look a little more edgy.
My go to snack this month has been Fiber One Cheesecake bar in either salted caramel or strawberry. And my go to drink is Tazo Passion Tea in Lemonade.
I've been head over heels about three video games. One is on your phone and is very addicting, Best Fiends. You play as little bugs fighting off slugs in a jewel style game play. One is on your computer or phone, Slither.io, and you basically play snake with other people. And the last is on the playstation, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. I love the story line and graphics in this game. It's like playing a movie.
The two songs that have been on basically non-stop repeat this month are Last Time by Taylor Swift with Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol and Stone Cold by Demi Lovato.
Though the superhero thing is getting a little over done, I really love Marvel movies. So this month the ones that I LOVED were Deadpool and Captain America: Civil War. And yes, they were from different production companies they are both Marvel at heart. Deadpool holds a special place in my heart as it's filled of sass and meta nature. Civil War on the other hand is a combination of every superhero in Marvel going head to head.
What were some of your favorite things in the month of May?
