3 Looks 1 Palette: Ace Beaute Flair Palette

Advertisements

Doing another 3 look 1 palette, but this time with the Ace Beaute Flair Palette. This palette has fifteen shades in a more fall rainbow scheme for $38.99 and includes three different finishes: matte, metallic, and duochrome which are some of my all time favorite shadows to play with.

Shades included in the palette are:

To make the 3 looks more interesting they are all randomly selected in some way. The first were five my sister selected, the second was from my a random number generator using the first five numbers not selected by my sister, and the last look was the five shades not previously selected. That way I was:

  1. Challenged by the color selections.
  2. Got use out of the entire palette.
  3. Couldn’t reuse shades as I often end up doing.

Look 1: Random Shades by my Sister

The first look was a random color challenge by my sister. I told to pick five shades by number without knowing what palette I would use. And she ended up picking the shades Saffron, Aubergine, Biscotti, Pumpkin, and Atlantis. I started out with Pumpkin followed by Saffron in the crease then used a touch of Aubergine in the outer corner. Then I cut the crease using some concealer before taking Biscotti on the inner half and Atlantis on the outer half. Then I blended the two together in the center using a touch of Bayberry (though my sister did not pick this, I added it) before applying some gold glitter liner by NYX to define the crease. Next I took Biscotti in the inner corner then used Atlantis to smoke out the lower lash line and brought some Saffron in the outer portion to make the look more pulled together. As far as the rest of my makeup, I’m wearing ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Know it All and Azeredo Cosmetics Flawless Lashes (Affiliate Code MAE10 for 10% off your purchase at azeredocosmetics.com).

Look 2: Google Number Generated

I want to say Google played me dirty with this look. I put in the numbers 1-15 and the first five numbers that weren’t already used in the previously look would be used for this one. It ended up picking the shades: Forest Pine, Acorn, Mirage, Mulberry, and Moss. Which the only shade I question in this look was Mirage since metallic deep red did not work with the mauve, brown, and green tones. I started with Mulberry in the crease then deepened it up with Acorn. Next I ran those shades under the lower lash line. Then I questioned what to do with the red, and decided to work more on the lower lash line using ColourPop Gel Creme Liner in Fast Lane then smoked it out with Forest Pine and Moss. Then decided to head back to the lid with Mirage which I HATED and ended up putting Moss over top of it. Since you basically can’t tell it’s in the look, I’m going to add this in the third look. Other products used were Jeffree Stars Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Deceased, Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder in Afterglow (applied as highlight everywhere including inner corner and brow bone), and House of Lashes Luna Luxe False Lashes.

Look 3: Everything Left

This look was random in that it’s using every shade I didn’t use in the other two looks. Since I ended up using Bayberry in the first look, I eliminated it from this look meaning the shades I had to use were the following: Cider, Firefly, Hazelnut, Sherbet, and Mirage. To start out this look I used Sherbet in the inner corner of my eyes then did Cider in the middle portion of my crease then Hazelnut in the outer corner. Next I used that same palette for the lower lash line. Next on my lids, I used Firefly on the inner half and Mirage on the outer half. For the waterline I used ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in Untz, neon orange liner. For lashes, I’m wearing Azeredo Cosmetics Flawless Lashes. And on my lips to complete this look I’m wearing Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Fully Nude which is a peachy warm nude.

WHICH RANDOM COLOR SELECTION LOOK DO YOU LIKE THE MOST? SHOULD I DO MORE OF THESE IN THE FUTURE? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS.
