I haven’t done a 3 looks 1 palette on my blog in a while that didn’t also include a review. And with my new mulled wine or merlot colored hair I was feeling fire-y so I decided let’s do another one of these posts using the NYX Phoenix Ultimate Shadow Palette. Plus I just got the ColourPop BFF Liquid Eyeliners so a bunch of these looks have graphic liner in them for a bit of something different and fun. I’m not doing a review on either of these products just showing up some fun looks using them, but if you would like a dedicated review on either of these products let me know and I’ll make it happen.
1. Firework Liner
On the first day I was wearing a wig and saw a video by the amazingly talented Mariah Leonard on firework eyeliner which makes your lashes just pop. So I decided to do a mixture of this with a simple eyeshadow look using the Phoenix palette. Plus Phoenix… fireworks… they kind of just go together. On my lips I’m wearing ColourPop x Becky G Ultra Matte lip in Secreto.
2. The Sun Witch
I am have gone a bit overboard with the yellow here. We got yellow eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara. I took a page out of RawBeautyKristi’s book on using the white (Graceland) liner to highlight and separate out the yellow (Make Luv) liner. And yes I used the ColourPop BFF Mascara in Yellow Goodbye because there wasn’t enough yellow already in this look. This look got it’s name from my mom who said I looked like the opposite of the White Witch from the Chronicles of Narnia, thus this look is called The Sun Witch!
3. Angular Berry
After two days of a yellow inspired look, I decided to go for something more on the berry red tone to find of go with my hair. For this look I used the ColourPop BFF liners in Graceland (white) and Ducky (pink), as well as ColourPop Supernova Shadow in From the Valley. I have on the House of Lashes in Knockout, I still need to trim these a bit more and somehow I missed the fact that the lashes were too high up in the inner corner on one of my eyes. Lastly for lips we have ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Souffle.
