5 Eyeshadow Palettes I Reach for the Most at the Moment

Summer is in full swing and I’ve been living for a mixture of colorful and warm toned neutral makeup. I haven’t done a lot of non-makeup review or looks type posts in a long time, and since I want to mix things up I thought I would share palettes that I’ve been reaching for the most within the last few weeks since summer started. These are by no means the only palettes I’m using but just the ones I’ve used the most.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker & Mini Breaker Palettes

I’m combining these two palettes as they were released together and often I use a combination of these two palettes to create a look. There are so many vibrant colors that create a variety of looks. Between the two palettes there are 33 shades and in a bundle it’s $75 (or individually the Jawbreaker palette is $58 and the Mini Breaker palette is $28).

Urban Decay Born to Run Palette

I love this palette as it has a mixture of neutral to muted colors that can create a nice wash of color for quick and simple summer looks. The Born to Run palette is $49 and includes 21 shades.

Juvia’s Place The Saharan II Palette

I wouldn’t call this a summer palette, but it’s probably the palette I reach for the most of my Juvia’s Place collection. I can always create a variety of looks out of the nine shades in the palette. The Saharan II palette is $20 and while it only has 9 shades, the pans are massive.

Iluvsarahii x ColourPop Through My Eyes Palette

This palette is gorgeous where you can create a variety of looks. From colorful looks with warm tones of summer to neutral looks using the more neutral tones. Not that it’s limited to summer looks as it can be also used for fall looks when the season changes. One of the shades I think is a bit too loose and needs the use of glitter glue to work. The Through my Eyes palette is $24 for 16 shades and does include a mirror.

ColourPop California Love Palette

California Love is the newest palette from ColourPop and I have been using it regularly with other palettes mentioned above when I’m doing my makeup. It’s a great neutral palette with orange tones that I’m living for at the moment. This palette is $18 for 12 shades and does not include a mirror. I swear ColourPop palettes have been getting more expensive recently.
