I’ve done two of these Anti-Hauls before, and I haven’t done one in a few months. And since I can’t really dig into the new products I got as I’m in the process of packing everything up and moving at the end of the month. I thought I would do another one of these but focus on the cruelty free holiday collection items that have come out for this year.
Fenty Beauty Galaxy Eyeshadow Palette
I originally had this on my wishlist. But after playing around with the NYX In Your Element Metal palette, I realized that I didn’t really need or want the galaxy palette from Fenty Beauty. It’s $60 and you get almost all of the shadows or similar shades in the NYX In Your Element Metal palette for $30. Plus every review I’ve seen of this palette has been stating it’s just a general miss. And I’m not the mood to buy a palette that I can’t create a full look out of every time. If you are on a budget and don’t buy a lot of makeup, or live out of one palette it’s just not worth it at all. So I say “skip”.
Too Faced Holiday Collection
I’ve commented on this brand before, I do not support them at all after their poor customer service. Also I’m allergy to every single shadow they come out with from the chocolate range to their other ranges. My eyes just itch like crazy if I wear their products. So I would rather save my eyes from that. Which is why I’m not going to be purchasing the White Chocolate Bar, Pretty Little Planner, or Boss Lady Beauty Agenda from this year’s holiday collection from Too Faced.
Jeffree Star Cosmetics 24 Karat Skin Frost Pro Palette
I really enjoy Jeffree Star’s velour liquid lipsticks. They are my all time favorite formula though there are a few that aren’t has great as others. But overall they are my favorite. Jeffree Star on his YouTube channel recently announced his holiday collection, now some items I am going to be getting and others I’m not. The main one that I won’t be purchasing is the 24 Karat Skin Frost Pro Palette. From the looks of it half the highlighters will be way too dark for me. And sure I could use them as eyeshadows, but I would rather use them for their purpose and if they won’t work on my skin tone they won’t work on my skin tone. Though if you had medium or dark skin tone, I bet they would be super flattering.
What holiday products coming out this year are you excited for and/or want no part of?
