Athena/Minerva: Goddess of War Strategy and Wisdom

For the third look, since Athena/Minerva is the goddess of war strategy and wisdom I love I would try to showcase that using golds and bronze colors. Now when I originally planned and tested the look, it turned out completely different to when I filmed it. So you can see in the end I ended up just switching the look of the head piece that this goddess is often seen wearing.

I started the look off by using Too Faced HangoveRx primer and Nars All Day Luminous Weightless foundation in Mont Blanc just to give my face a bit of a base. Then for the head piece I used a gold cream paint then set it using golds from the Morphe 35OS palette. Then I used that same palette to create shadows using the dark bronze colors. I then used a gold liquid eyeliner from NYX to create a circle embellishment into the headpiece trying to draw a lion the best I could. After completing the originally planned look, I decided I didn't like how it look and scraped the idea for just a pure gold head piece created from the NYX Glam Liner in 24 Karat Gold. Leaving the shadows where they were.

For my eyes, I primed them using NYX eye shadow base in skin tone then used the bronze shades from the Morphe 35OS palette. After completing that I used the Illamsqua liquid eyeliner to give myself a double cat eye but not filling in the center with black. Instead I reached for the NYX gold eyeliner once more and filled both of those in to give my eyes more of a cat/lion look. Then I applied some Benefit Roller Lash mascara to finish off the eyes.

For my lips I used Milani Amore Matte Metallic Lip Creme in Matteralistic as it is the perfect bronze shade to complete the Athena look.

I did apply from NYX tinted mascara to my brows but as the blend into the shadows of the headpiece, this is not actually needed.
