On my year’s journey to starting to feel more like myself, I have hated my hair for months. After many months of bleaching my hair and dying it various colors, my hair was getting shorter and shorter. And not feeling healthy. It was more the bleaching than the dying that royally killed my hair. When I finally decided to no longer have red hair, after three bleach sessions my hair was crispy and chemically shortened. I cut it short hoping that would help in the regrowth process which did help it feel better. But I needed to fix it at the root level. So to do this I decided to try out Olapex No. 3 with so many YouTubers swore by.
About Olapex
How to Use
- Apply a generous amount to towel-dried hair and comb through (you can also apply to completely dry hair, although it might take more product). If your hair contains oil or silicone buildup, you will also need to shampoo beforehand.
- The longer No.3 remains in place, the more effective its results will be. As such, be sure to keep it in your hair for at least 10 minutes, or 20 minutes if your hair is compromised.
- Rinse, shampoo, condition, and style per your normal routine. Again, the website emphasizes that it’s not a conditioner and must be shampooed out.
