This month I decided to take some risks and I was terrified multiple times for blog posts to go live. The first, was introducing the new photography style which I want to get a tablet to allow me to do more doodles and whatnot on photos. The second, was my blogging confessions or mistakes that I made in the past as I know one item in there particularly is very polarizing in the community which I get 100%. But what’s the point of sharing a blogging mistakes if I don’t mention my biggest mistake/regret that I did, check out that post if you want to know what it was.
I also went back and forth multiple times on what logo I wanted for my blog. I love the Dragon with the Wolf but I’m decided to just drop everything down to the wolf. And though I love the stock photo water-colored wolf that I got… I wanted something that was more just mine. So I tried drawing my own version but it just wasn’t as polished as I wanted. After multiple failed attempts to come up with something I decided to just give up and get help with creating a wolf logo that I loved. And ended up getting up designing a logo on Fiverr. Which I find to be a fantastic place to get assistance with creating specific items you’re looking for. I also used Fiverr to create a new intro for all my videos from the gaming channel when I upload directly to there and my main channel. As part of dropping the dragon from everything as I had the wolf as beauty and dragon as gaming, I’ve changed my signature on all blog posts so it doesn’t have the Dragonite in it.
I also just myself a ring light and a new tripod. Next thing to get is a better microphone for my camera so video quality will be even better. As well as so I can take photographs at night time since that’s when I do the majority of my blogging so I need a light to make the process better. Also I’m probably going to use it more for streams so I can actually have the webcam on since currently when I stream it’s pitch black out so that’s not the best option. It’s an investment and I’m glad I got it granted right now none of that makes me any side money or money in general. But it’s what I want to do, so I’m going to do it regardless.
I’ve also been planning a bunch of things for the end of the year starting in September, which I’m really excited about. But I need to do a lot for those projects plus the cruelty free guide redesign, that after this month blog posts will not be posted daily for a while as I need to spend the majority of my free time on those projects. Not sure how I’m going to schedule it out at the moment for those months, but I think limiting it while I’m working on those projects will help keep the quality how I like it. I will eventually go back to daily blog posts but for the meantime in order to do these projects, I just need more time focusing on those and less on writing blog posts for every single day. And I’ll announce them as they get closer to their reality, but the one I can for sure mention is the cruelty free guide which is going to be super interactive. And combine all of the “Is BLANK Cruelty Free” posts that I used to do.
