If you want a full review of Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Vol. 1 Palette, this is not the place for that. Click the link to see my opinions on the palette. Today I’m just sharing a few looks I’ve created using the palette. I am not including the look I included in the review so if you want a fourth, there’s one in the full review. Now onto the looks!
It’s been a while since I’ve done a full blown review so excuse me if this is a little messy. But I really want to review this palette as I think it’s so stunning, and something I am honestly shocked not to see before. Tati Beauty is a new brand started by Tati Westbrook (GlamLifeGuru) that is both vegan cruelty free. The first palette they have launched, which sold out right away as well as the pre-order is called Textured Neutrals Volume 1. I managed to get it during the pre-order which was a mini restock of the palette, and I have to ask is it worth the hype? I have not seen a single bad review of this palette, so my expectations of the palette going in were pretty high to say the least.View Post
Continuing on with my seasonal creative makeup looks, I did this snowman look inspired by @vocallyshook. To be honest I have not built a snowman in many years… I think the last one I made was in college and then for a class assignment we had to do something against social norms, which promptly lead to me making at least part of the snowman in my bikini. It was extremely cold, and I regretted it immediately. But hey it led to an interesting memory and photo (not that I’m showing it on here).View Post
A Christmas tradition of my family is going to see the latest Star Wars movie in theaters and this year we’re looking forward to The Rise of Skywalker. My sister challenged me to do a Star Wars related look, so I created this one on Darth Maul, C-3PO, and R2-D2. The only photoshop is the horn on the Darth Maul look. Thanks for the challenge sis!View Post
One of my favorite Christmas movies of all time is How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey. I could honestly quote that movie all season long and even after that. So, when I saw Peachcait over on Instagram created a look inspired by the movie in an ornament, I knew I had to do my own version of it. While hers is half of her face, I kept mine as added detail to the look. Mainly as I can’t wear colored contacts and I wanted to do something I little bit different. Check out her original version of the look as it is incredible!View Post
It’s been a year since I got a haircut that completely wrecked my self confidence where the back was maybe an inch or two long. And about nine months since I started using the Curl Girl Method. In that time a lot has changed. I have changed hair colors several times though I’m trying to keep it more natural now (granted I’m still dying it from a cool tone color to a warm tone color in the same level every four months or so). And I did get a haircut recently to give my hair a uniform style, prior to that I had not gotten my hair professionally done since last Christmas. So, I thought I would do a little update on the hair growth and how the Curly Girl Method has been working for me.View Post
Pantone has announced the Color of the Year 2020, it’s Classic Blue (19-4052) and I thought it would be fun to do this again. Last year, I did it when the Color of the Year (2019) was Living Coral. So I thought I would do something similar again, though this time instead of a creative makeup look based off the color, I’m just going to use it as the base for my regular eyeshadow look.View Post
