Review & Swatches of the ColourPop 9-Pan Shadow Palettes (Part 2)

Honestly, this is something I fell off the train of following with each of the new releases ColourPop did with the 9-pan palettes as I have gotten almost all of them. Save for three of more recent ones though I will probably end up getting them at some point. Instead of going back to the original post I did on this, I figured I would just start a part 2. Can We Dupe it? Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien Palette

At the beginning of 2020, Jeffree Star announced that the Alien Palette, which has been out of stock for some time will no longer be coming back. Since this is one of my favorite palettes even though I broke it when I took it out of the original packaging, I was debating on getting a second which now will no longer be happening. So, I thought I would bring back this series and see if I can come up with some dupes for my favorite shades in that palette.

What’s the Problem with DevaCurl? And Why I Stopped Using Their Products

I think everyone that starts the Curly Girl Method at one point or another tries DevaCurl. It’s one of the most popular products for this since it’s silicone free and was previously known as being the perfect product to use. Comparing ColourPop x Kathleen Lights Dream Street Palette to Dominique Cosmetics Latte Palette

This is a concept I got from Cleia, which I’ve had in my “‘post ideas” list forever but never ended up doing. And recently I’ve been using Dominique Cosmetics Latte Palette for my everyday makeup. So, I thought it was finally time to compare this palette with the Kathleen Lights x ColourPop Dream St. Palette.

3 Looks 1 Palette: Ace Beaute Flair Palette

Doing another 3 look 1 palette, but this time with the Ace Beaute Flair Palette. This palette has fifteen shades in a more fall rainbow scheme for $38.99 and includes three different finishes: matte, metallic, and duochrome which are some of my all time favorite shadows to play with.

Thoughts Regarding ColourPop & Makeup Geek New Releases

I was going to do an anti-haul but weren’t a lot of things I really wanted to talk about. One I wanted to do more on a general basis of the brand (ColourPop) while the other is regarding the re-brand of Makeup Geek. I’m trying my hardest not to buy any new products (other than the Ace Beaute palettes that I got), so I thought this would be interesting to do.
