My Thoughts on The Broken Kingdom Series by LJ Andrews
I love a good retelling or adaptation of classic folklore. This series by LJ Andrews is going to be broken into four parts. The first is Beauty and the Beast (books 1-3), the second is Cinderella (books 4-6), the third is Swan Princess (books 7-8), and the last is the Phantom of the Opera (9). This series is finished! The last book does have all four tales collide together for a grand finale. While the series are separate, they occur in the same world and are interconnected. So, you can read the Cinderella books first, but it is recommended that you read them in the order they were published. Particularly since characters are introduced in the first book and their stories build on what happened in the previous ones. The whole series is part Viking, part folklore, with Fae and magic.…

I asked on Twitter, Threads, and Discord if I should post a tour of my bookcases (also known as my library), and the response was overwhelmingly 'yes.' I haven't counted how many books I have since June 2022, but I believe I have around 300 physical books. Perhaps more. There aren't many authors who I would read everything they publish. Either because I'm not interested in all of their concepts or because I'm only interested in specific universes. Or they have way too many series, so I pick and choose which one I'm going to read. And then, there are other authors who I have read everything they have released, but because they just have one series or world that they have been writing in. I saw this idea from Angelika Oles and thought it would be a fun idea. Most of the games featured on this list are my all-time favorite games. By no means is this every game I've ever played or the true total amount. As I've switched computers several times over the years, and the Nintendo Switch gives a rough estimate with only 20 games displayed. One of the games on this list wasn't displayed but I based the time on how long the game takes on average. If I had the stats for how much time I played The Sims 2 and 3 those would be on here too, but sadly I don't know the answer to that as I played on my dad's laptop and a computer I left behind years ago. Plus, those were played on physical disks so I don't have those stats. I also grouped games of a series together as I feel that gives a more accurate portrayal of the time I spent in those worlds.…

The War of Lost Hearts by Carissa Broadbent is a trilogy which has been compared to Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. Which is a series I absolutely loved, so I was a little nervous to read this series. Because either I was going to lose interest if it was too similar to Throne of Glass or would spend too much time comparing the two instead of enjoying it. I've been following Hannah Nicole Maehrer's Assistant to the Villain series on TikTok since it began, so I was thrilled to see it made into a book series.
