Smile Brilliant has asked to partner with me again to review their CariPRO Ultrasonic Electric Toothbrush. Which if you’ve been following me on Twitter or Instagram, you’ll know this last month I’ve been heavily focused on my 2020 goal of finally addressing my teeth. I ended up getting all my wisdom teeth removed and I have a lot of other work that still needs to be done. So, when Smile Brilliant asked if they could send their electric toothbrush to me in exchange for a review I was all for it, since I was recommended by my new dentist to switch to this style.

I Cut Out Sugar for a Month & Here’s What Happened

Since January I’ve been trying to be better with my diet and to lose weight. Really I’ve been trying to figure out diet for ages where I’m eating enough nutrients, and I can lose weight. I cut out having desserts every night to maybe once every four months, and only having fast food once every other week. And while this initially helped me lose 10 pounds, stress brought all of that weight straight back. Which seriously bothered me as losing that first 10 pounds already felt impossible. I also started going on long walks with Pixie every day as compared to short walks that we were doing. So after watching Mykie from Glam & Gore’s fitness transformation video, I got inspired to give letting go of all sugar from my diet a chance. Which sounds simple until you notice just how many things contain sugar. And how freaking addicted to it you are. So here is my experience with giving it up for an entire month.

Some days despite all our attempts to be happy and positive, we just have a day that seems to drag us through the mud. It’s just part of life… or for me, dealing with bipolar disorder. Some days it just really wants to test you. Lately I’ve been dealing with another depressive episode that has been one of the worst I’ve had in many years. And after many years of trying to figure out how to cope and manage these episodes, I’ve came up with a few things that I can do that will help put myself into a better mood and have a more positive note in my day.
