Disney: Easter Eggs a Plenty

Disney: Easter Eggs a Plenty

Fore-warning this is going to be a several part series as Disney loves to throw cameos into different movies and make everything one connected world. But we’re not just going to be going over the hidden Easter Eggs in this series but the bigger connecting branches that string multiple movies together. As some of these are only tied together from the Easter Eggs, while others are a little more detailed with proof from the movies if you take certain context clues. To begin the series off, I’m just going to be going over the Easter Eggs that don’t necessarily string the movies together but are fun things to find while watching the films.

Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi Review

Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi Review

Yesterday, I went to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi in theaters. And all I knew about it going it was this movie was supposed to rival that of The Empire Strikes Back. Which is one of the greatest Star Wars movies ever put out. So to say I was excited to see this and also a little nervous is an underestimate. Nervous that it wouldn’t live up to the hype. But the hype is well deserved. As the movie was speculator! Though I do have to say if certain moments or choices were made differently by the characters, the conflict would’ve been resolved much quicker and with less losses on the side of the Rebellion. But then the movie would be insanely short and not as fun to watch.

Yesterday, I saw the film Murder on the Orient Express which is based on the book by the same namesake written by Agatha Christie. Which follows the tales of Detective Hercule Poirot as he tries to determine who murdered Ratchett, a gangster with a suspicious past on an European famous train in the 1930s. He must determine from the remaining twelve passengers who the murder is. This film was directed by Sir Kenneth Charles Branagh, who is known for Shakespeare film adaptations and plays Directive Hercule Poirot in this film.

Favorite DC & Marvel Movies

Favorite DC & Marvel Movies

Today I thought it would be fun to share all of my favorite DC and Marvel movies. Now these are not in any particular order for either universe, more just the order I ended up making the collage for this post. And I love these movies for different reasons. Some are because I find them hilarious while others make me want to strap on a sword or bow then go fight hundreds of enemies.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Movie Review

Rogue One: A Star Wars Movie Review

I saw this movie on Christmas and seriously enjoyed the movie. And it was a little bittersweet to watch know that Carrie Fisher passed away… I would rank this Star Wars movie right after Empire Strikes Back which is my favorite Star Wars movie. And though it ranks up there in the franchise and is very dark compared to the others, there are some issues with the movie. As there are with all movies. No movie is without issue.

Favorite Movies to Watch Around Halloween

Favorite Movies to Watch Around Halloween

Halloween is my favorite holiday with Christmas being a close second, so for the entire month of October (more or less) I will be dedicating every blog post around Halloween/Fall. So what better way to kick off the season of Halloween than going over all the movies I love watching during the month of October. Some are Halloween specific while others are not, but fit the general feel of Halloween.
