One of my favorite Christmas movies of all time is How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey. I could honestly quote that movie all season long and even after that. So, when I saw Peachcait over on Instagram created a look inspired by the movie in an ornament, I knew I had to do my own version of it. While hers is half of her face, I kept mine as added detail to the look. Mainly as I can’t wear colored contacts and I wanted to do something I little bit different. Check out her original version of the look as it is incredible!
ColourPop and Disney collaborated yet again for a Frozen II Collection, which included two 9-pan palettes named after each of the sisters: Anna and Elsa. Each palette costs $15, includes a mirror and comes in a cardboard packaging. I love Disney, and recently saw Frozen II (see The Pop Culture Download #18 for my thoughts on the movie). I’ve been listening to several of the songs on repeat since seeing the movie. So, even though I swore I wasn’t going to buy anymore palettes… I couldn’t stop myself. I had to get these.View Post
With the Thanksgiving holiday, I ended up spending time with my family and one of the things we do for traditions is watch movies. We ended up watching two different ones. The first being Christmas in the Smokies on Netflix and the second being Frozen II. I’m not going to share the plot or discuss either in great detail in case you haven’t seen them yet and want to.View Post
The major thing that I’ve done this week is play the latest expansion pack of The Sims 4, so I’m just going to go into the latest pack and all of it’s details since I’ve been playing it since it was released on Friday. And I don’t have anything else I really wanted to go over in this week’s Pop Culture Download.View Post
I love playing The Sims 4, which probably comes as no surprise and I have basically every expansion, game, and stuff packs that are currently out as of November 15, 2019. I’m only stating the date as more packs are probably going to come out in the future and I’ll post something in the future on those most likely. So I thought it would be a fun idea to rank them. Now I’m ranking them based off how often I use the content of these packs, a number of things you get in the packs, and the overall theme of the packs. Some packs I solely just use a few of its features, but none of the rest of it. So the rankings are all my opinion on how usable they are to my gameplay.View Post
I found quite a few songs in the last few weeks that I’ve just fallen in love with, and since I haven’t shared any new song that I’ve discovered in a while I thought this week was the perfect opportunity since I haven’t had a lot of time to do much else as my huge work project is finally at go-live time. After this next week, I should have way more time again where I can blog and explore new things.View Post
