Months ago when I ordered all of the ColourPop eyeshadow I also picked up several of the pressed powder blushes and bronzer. The ones they refer to as being for fair skinned individuals which were the following shades: Noodle, Why Hello, To The 10, and CA Dreaming. And I have been using them every single time I am doing a full face of makeup. Each powder is $8 for 0.21 oz of product.
Noodle
This blush is a brighter, medium pink with a cool, blue undertone and has a matte finish. Don’t be fooled by the appearance of this blush in the pan, it’s quite sheer. And as a fair skinned person, that works wonderfully to my favor so I don’t end up looking like a clown. And I don’t really love blush so the sheer nature of this blush is exactly what I want as I often feel like I’ve put too much on. So if you are a major fan of pigmented blushes, this one might not be for you. But if you’re just starting to get into wearing blushes, this one is perfect! The blush does last on your cheeks for around six hours.
To The 10
The next blush I got was To The 10 which is a neutral warm pink. Like Noodle, this one needs to be built up for full opacity. Which is something that I enjoy in a blush since you don’t go over board initially and can blend it out more easily. Compared to Noodle, this blush is slightly more dusty/dry but it didn’t cause any issues with blending into my cheeks. I also get around seven hours of wear time with this blush.
Why Hello
The last blush that I got was Why Hello, which is a soft peachy pink. Like the other two blushes, this has a semi-sheer coverage and not to sound like a broken record is something that I look for in a blush. This blush has a powdery consistency that is silky to the touch but dry upon application. And looks lovely on the skin. Similar to the other blushes, it lasts around six hours.
CA Dreaming
This is the only pressed powder bronzer that ColourPop classifies for fair skin. It is a medium, golden brown with warm undertones and a matte undertone. I love this bronzer as it applies evenly and blends out like a dream. It does not appear dry or powdery on the skin granted it has a soft texture. Instead it just melts on the skin and looks like you have gotten a nice amount of sun without ever needing to be exposed to it. And unlike the other pressed powders, this bronzer lasts eight hours before it begins to fade.
Overall Thoughts
I really enjoy these powders. As I mentioned, I wear these quite often and will probably continue to do so in the future. Though I’m probably going to mix in my other products so those don’t just sit in my collection gathering dust.
