ColourPop You Had Me At Hello Eyeshadow Palette Review

Advertisements

The You Had Me At Hello is the only 12 shadow palette ColourPop has that includes a mirror. If I’m going to go with a pink look it has to include a bunch of plum. Which I particularly love in the fall season. I wish the other palettes all had mirrors as it makes it so much easier to get ready in the morning with the mirror. Especially these days as I don’t have a makeup corner to set up apply my makeup. So it’s not something I’m used to, so I love that this palette has a mirror.

This palette came in on a week where I’ve been wearing glasses every single day, and typically I don’t wear makeup when I’m wearing glasses. As I have to hold a mirror within like ten inches or more just to see what I’m doing. So brushes just get in the way and everything looks sloppy. So I’m not sharing any of the looks I made because they just aren’t anything like my other looks. I’m working on getting better at it but I would rather hold off on sharing those until I get better at it.

I really loved these shadows and can see myself reaching for this palette a lot for the fall and spring. I have a feeling this is going to be my opinion on all of these ColourPop eyeshadow palettes as I just love their pressed shadows, and haven’t experienced one that didn’t work for me yet. I’ve had bad palettes in the past, but so far these ColourPop ones are just working splendid for me. I do need to go through my eyeshadow palettes more and clear out ones I don’t use. And these ColourPop palettes are going to be getting their own spot on top of my makeup storage… whenever I get one.
