December 2016 Favorites

As much as I love cruelty free makeup, this month I decided I wanted a break from wearing and buying makeup unless I honestly needed something like a foundation or makeup wipe. And learning that some products that I considered holy grail items are not actually cruelty free as I thought so I need to find dupes for them. But this month I realized, I was buying a lot of makeup but was not using it often, because I was constantly trying something new. And I did have my advent calendars. But since I was getting something new every day, I have not tried those products in depth to they will not be included in my favorites even if I did enjoy them. If I continue to like them those will be in next months. So this month is a little hodge-podge of everything.

One thing I have found to be completely game changing is PopSocket. I seriously don't know what I would do without this on my phone. It's so easy to mount in my car, carry around, and makes the perfect phone stand. I have a marble PopSocket with a pink heart that looks really cute against my white phone case that shows my rose gold iPhone underneath.

The few beauty items that I have worn on repeat were Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Designer Blood and Deceased. I also have been wearing Tarte Amazonian Clay full coverage foundation in fair beige, which is making my skin look and feel so much better than when I was wearing Hourglass Vanish foundation. I was finding my pores getting clogged up with the hourglass foundation, but have no issue with the tarte foundation. It also feel so lightweight that I forget I'm wearing foundation during the day.

For fashion, I'm been basically living in my black and blue holiday onesie and fingerless knitted gloves from Reverie Handmade. It's so comfy that I would honestly just wear it all month long if I didn't feel weird about never changing.

Games that I've been obsessed with playing are Don't Starve and Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location Custom Nights. I also extremely enjoyed playing Awkward Family Photo Movie Caption Game at my work's Christmas party. A phone game that I got obsessed with is Mario Run. Yes it's not free, but I get to play Mario on my phone so I'm totally fine with it.

I don’t think I could do this favorites without mentioning that I loved the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Rogue One a Star Wars Movie.

Songs that have been on repeat all month long not including Christmas songs were: All Time Low by Jon Bellion, Guillotine by Jon Bellion, and Inner Demons by Julie Brennan.

I've also been catching up on a lot of TV shows so the ones that I've been watching are: American Horror Story both Hotel and Roanoke, and Once Upon a Time Season 5.

And lastly a YouTube channel I have been obsessed with watching is Hope for Paws Rescues. It's a rescue team that saves dogs from the streets, mainly in California, but also in other areas. It seriously makes me want to go adopt more dogs but unfortunately we're sort of at the limit for number of pets at our townhouse.
