DIY Paper Cacti

With Ariel moving out during the beginning of October, I’ve been in a home decor mood. And I have seen quite a few pinterest posts of paper cacti that people made. But didn’t see any that had instructions on how to make them. Plus I thought this would be super fun to make these for our guest bathroom.

What You Need:

  • Pots
  • Green construction paper
  • Moss
  • Black paint
  • Paint brush
  • Scissors
  • Optional: Other colored construction paper

1. Paint the pots black

2. Cut various cactus shapes, duplicate each shape then cut each shape in half. On one of the two halves cut top down and the other from the bottom up. Optional: Add design on the cactus with sharpie.

3. Slide the two halves together to form your cactus

4. Put the cactus in your pot then stabilize them with moss.
