I post new things on my blog almost every single day of the week. In order to do this, I have to stay rather organized to make sure everything runs smoothly. So these are all the tools that I use in order to accomplish this. And I find it fascinating to see what other bloggers use to run their blogs.
Tools & Essentials
Windows Laptop | Probably my most important tool that I use, this is my Windows Laptop. Specifically it’s a Dell Inspiron laptop with Windows 10 that also acts as my gaming computer. But I am debating after I move on getting a desktop computer to be my main computer. I do everything for my blog on here from writing posts to updating social media to editing photos using Adobe Photoshop. My blog is currently hosted on WordPress, and I use Bloglovin’ for readers to subscribe and get updates about each post.
OneNote | I would be completely lost if I didn’t have my Microsoft OneNote notebook. I use this for particularly everything from writing to-do lists, writing down all my ideas of posts, drafting some of my ideas, and keeping track of my “editorial” calendar… which is really just a blank calendar that I remove or black out dates for when I have posts scheduled and finalize.
Twitter | I used to never see the point of Twitter, but now I go on this social media platform all the time. From connecting with the Howl Pack to sharing my content. Plus it’s super easy to give quick little updates without needing to write a blog post for that. Some of my favorite tags to check out with to find new blogs are #bblogger and #lblogger. If you want to come join me over on Twitter, I would love to chat with ya!
Canon Rebel T6 EOS & EFS 18-55 mm Lens | I used to take all of my photos with my phone but they didn’t have the same quality as they do with my Canon camera. I am working on developing more of a uniform style alongside of the storybook editing appearance. I am debating on getting a few different lens and some new photography backgrounds/props to take my photos to the next level.
What are your essential blogging tools?
Love ya,

Wow! I have never heard of One Note. I use something called Evernote, and I have notebooks for beauty ideas, fashion ideas, etc, but I still have paper and pen notes laying all over. Ahh!!!

It comes with Microsoft Office. Very similar to Evernote in the features where I have notes on literally everything, I used to have Evernote but realized I had two things that did the same thing so I just went down to the one.

These are some great tips! I have a 18-55 mm lens for my DSLR too but I would like to try out a new one so I can get better close up shots!

Glad you found it helpful! Yes, definitely I’m in the same mood where I want other lens for different types of photos for close-ups and whatnot.

Your post could not have come at better time for me. My laptop just gave out on me and I am shopping around for a new one – currently working on a desktop and hating it – I hate being chained to a chair, takes the fun out of it for me. I remember Dell laptops from a few years back when I had one and my only issue with it was that it used to heat up a lot which drove me crazy. I will check the model you mentioned so thanks for that!

I just started getting really into Twitter the last few months and it’s made a huge difference with getting engagement and feeling more part of the blogging community.
