Everything I Read in 2021

It’s been an entire year. I hope everyone had a good year. I thought I would wrap up the year by looking back at every single book I read in 2021. Honestly, I’m surprised by how many books I read. Not only that but I started reading new genres during the course of this year, though it still is related to fantasy/sci-fi (for the most part). We’ll see if 2022 is similar in terms of how many books I read. I have a lot on my reading list still.

Here is the list of everything I read in order from 2021:

I only have books that I completed and did not DNF in this list. If I DNF’d a book, I have that in a separate section in this post. Several of these books I read multiple times during the course of the year, so the actual number of books is higher if you take that into consideration, but I didn’t count how many times I re-read books, and some of them I only re-read certain sections like returning to the romance only portion of some books and skipping the plot. Depends on the book and what I was in a mood for at the time.

DNF’d Books – 4 in Total

• Lightbringer (The Empirium Trilogy #3) by Claire Legrand – Read 50% of it before shelving the book in February. I read the ending of it so I know what happens and decided not to return.
• The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake – I read three out of eight acts in the book before I couldn’t take how pretentious the characters were any longer and shelved it in September. Like all of the characters were like that to a point where they were getting on my nerves, so I couldn’t bring myself to read anymore.
• The Millennium Wolves (Book 6) by Sapir Englard – I started the sixth book before I got couldn’t stand the characters and mobile app any longer. I share the characters changed their personalities every so many chapters, so it was hard to connect with them. Not to mention you could only read a chapter at a time every so often unless you purchased tokens to unlock them sooner.
• A Heart So Fierce and Broken (The Cursebreaker Series #2) by Brigid Kemmerer – I don’t remember where I left off in this book but I put it back on my shelf when I realized that the book changed from the first couple to Grey and another individual. I might one day go back to this series, but right now I have not touched it since August.
