Yesterday when I was driving home from work I decided instead of driving along the highway to the townhouse I would go down the back road where the lake runs near my house. And I was in the zone of singing along to the radio while driving through the trees. Then the trees vanish and you get a clear view of the lake and instantly I knew I had to get the shot. I didn’t have my nice DSLR camera on me as I don’t need it while I’m at work and I knew driving home then running back down to the lake would be too late. As on the lake there was the most gorgeous fog rolling over everything. So I pulled over in the park’s parking lot then ran down to the lake to get the photographs on my iPhone.
“… you’ll take a lot of pictures and only regret the ones that you didn’t take.”
While walking back to my car, this quote popped into my head which I completely agree with. As if I had run to the house to get my camera then back to the lake I’m positive I would’ve missed this. And yes they aren’t the best quality in the world but I’m still so happy with them because they’re a memory of fog rolling over Medicine Lake. What shot have you regretted that you missed?
