How I’ve Been Doing my Everyday Makeup in Quarantine

It’s been a hot minute since I posted something makeup related on my blog, but to be honest I haven’t been wearing a lot of makeup since quarantine for COVID-19 began. Mainly as I ran out of contacts and putting makeup on without being able to really see was a hassle. So, I’ve only really started wearing makeup again for the last month. But it’s still been my go-to “roughly” since quarantine started.

To start out my makeup, I’ve been using a tinted moisturizer. Usually this is Tarte Maracuja Tinted Hydrator in 10N Fair Neutral. Something to even out my skin tone but not anything heavy, plus it gives my skin some life with the moisturizing aspect. Then I put on e.l.f. Hydrating Camo Concealer in Fair Beige, I’m actually almost out of this product as there’s only a small sliver left at the bottom. I do have some other ones in my collection that I’ll use up but I seriously loved this product. I usually apply this just to my undereye area to conceal the dark circles/make them less noticeable. Some days I need a peach color corrector to fully get rid of them, but as I’m not going out I forgo this step often.

After that’s done, I put my brows on which I’ve been using primarily Milani Stay Put Brow Pomade Pencil in Dark Brown. I have gone through two of these since quarantine started and will be needing to get another one in the next week as I’m almost out.

Next, it’s time for the eyes. I always prime my eyes with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden then use whatever palette I’m in the color mood for. This is the one part of the routine that changes every time. The general shape and look is the same though. I use a transition shade in the crease, then a metallic on the lid, and a darker color in the outer corner. Whatever is left over on my brush, I quickly smudge out on the lower lash line. For the pictures in this post of the look, I used the ColourPop x Star Wars The Mandalorian The Child Pressed Powder Palette, those shades being: Just Like A Tatooine, The Force, and Droid Protocol. The artwork on this palette is so stinking cute! After I apply a light bit of liner to the upper lash line using the NYX Epic Ink Liner, and finish it off with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Brag Volumizing Mascara. Is it my favorite mascara? No, but it’s not bad and considering how much it was I’m using this baby until it’s completely done. If you want a cheaper option that’s just as good if not better, I would say go for the Essence Volume Stylist 18hr Curl and Hold Mascara.

To finish off my makeup, I apply one of ColourPop’s Lux Liquid Lipsticks. At the moment, I’ve been reaching for and using the shade Flynn from the Disney Designer Collection which is a rose plum color. I need to get more shades of these as I seriously love this formula, and considering most of my liquid lipsticks are over three years old I think it’s time to do a massive purge and get new stuff.

That’s it.

That’s the entire routine.

Eight products in total, but literally takes me about five minutes at the max to apply and makes me look put together. Granted, no one can see me most days (though I’ve been streaming more often with webcam so I generally do this on those days lately) and I don’t go literally anywhere. Yes, it doesn’t fix any of my blemishes for the most part, or give my skin a blurring effect but I’m ok with that. Again, it’s not like I’m going anywhere.

Love ya,
