One thing that I really want to do is to explore more Indie Brands. But I am on a no buy to low buy at the moment so I can’t just go out and buy all of the things I want to. So I can’t go out and order all of these palettes even though they are gorgeous. And I’m classifying Indie Brand as ones that are not in major retailers for the most part and have a small (less than 1 million) following on Instagram. I’m also doing a lot of longer try-outs of things at the moment so I don’t really have anything new to discuss. So I thought I would just do an Indie Brand palette wishlist instead so there’s still some beauty related content on the blog.

This brand I find super intriguing from the palette designs to the range of colors they have in their palettes. Plus half of their swatches look too good to be true. So I really want to try them out for myself to see if they actually are. Plus I can see myself reaching for a fair amount of their palettes often for the color tones they have. Especially the palette on the right above. That army green with the burgundy is calling me.
Pinky Rose Cosmetics

I discovered this brand through recommendations on YouTube. I don’t know too much about the brand other than they are cruelty free and started by siblings. Each sibling in this latest collection designed a palette. One inspired by the 80s and another by the 90s. And I have to say those are calling to me. It’s the bottom two palettes in most of these pictures. The other is a peacock inspired one which isn’t calling me as much as the others. But you can get them all together in a collection so I would most likely end up doing that if I were to ever get them.
Coloured Raine Cosmetics

This is a brand that a good amount of smaller influencers on Instagram were recently wearing as they are about to release a new palette (one of the far right) which is a palette after my own heart. I don’t know what it is about green shadows but I think they are striking… maybe it’s ’cause Emerald is my birthstone or I have green/brown hazel eyes. But it just looks stunning plus I’ve heard good things about the other palettes from them as well.
Black Moon Cosmetics

I have only tried their Moonlighters (highlighters) before and I loved those. And I am extremely tempted to get the Orb of Lights – Full Moon Palette at Ulta using some of my points to make this more affordable for me. The aesthetic and fall tones of the palette are just calling to me! Plus it’s all matte which is something you hardly see these days. Most palettes have a massive amount of shimmer or metallic, which I do love but an all matte palette just gives me more reason to mix it with my liquid eyeshadows or individual shadows in my collection that don’t get the use they deserve.
Also no lie like four years ago when I was getting into makeup I wanted to create my own brand called Howl Beauty (still want to make that some day) and I was going to name my palettes after the moon phases and highlighters called Moonlighters. Can’t do that now that Black Moon Cosmetics has it, but that’s just how in tune my brain is to this brand. So I need to try more from them.
What Indie Brands do you love the eyeshadow formula of? Or if you’ve tried any of these brands before what do you think of them? Are they worth it? Let me know in the comments.
Love ya,

I know, right? One day I’ll try them.
I haven’t heard of Pinky Rose Cosmetics or Black Moon Cosmetics, I’ll have to look into them! I’m also really curious about Ace Beaute and Coloured Raine. Their palettes look gorgeous.

They are pretty small brands at least on Instagram. But Black Moon Cosmetics just got into Ulta at least with their eyeshadow palette.
