One thing I have wanted to get better at for a while but have been ultimately avoiding is cooking. I've baked simple things for a while now but I don't cook. And I really want to be able to cook different things that aren't fast food, so in order to help me learn to cook and try cooking more things that are outside of my comfort zone I decided the best way to force me to do that was to create another blog called Mae Cooks.
To start with the blog so I felt more confident about pushing that live button was moving all my recipe posts from this blog to that one. So that kind of means right now everything that's posted is almost all dessert recipes. But I've written out a list of appetizers & sides, entrees, desserts, and drinks & snacks that I can write posts for. So now I just need to learn recipes for these things, cook, and write about posts for them.
I don't know how often I'll post but in theory, if I'm cooking more often then there should be at least one post a week for the weekly lunch prep. If not more, but I haven't figured out what I'm going to do. But I'm really excited for it! Let me know if there are any recipes you would like to see on there.
