Next up in the line up for Juvia’s Place is Afrique Palette and interestingly the only palette that doesn’t start with “The.” Not that it means anything. This palette is supposed to be the representation of beauty, art, and Glamour. It has smaller pan sizes like a typical ColourPop palette as it includes 12 shades with a variety of greens, blues, and deep reds.
As I mentioned in my previous Juvia’s Place review I’m not going to do a deep dive anymore in the performance as they have all been the same but here is the quick summary: the metallics are like butter, the mattes are extremely pigmented without being patchy, and it all blends out seamlessly. If you want to see my previous reviews, here is the list of them:

This palette costs $20 on Ulta and claims to have 0.63 oz of product. Like other Juvia’s Place palettes this has a vegan formula meaning it may cause some staining on your skin due to the lake dyes used.
- Cote D’lvoire (matte persian blue)
- Dakar (matte terracotta)
- Niger (matte shamrock green)
- Togo (shimmer jade)
- Bintou (matte burgundy)
- Cotonou (shimmer violet)
- Aya (matte lemon yellow)
- Cameroon (matte caramel)
- Angelique (shimmer peach)
- Kisi (matte beechnut)
- Fifi (shimmer beet red)
- Kofi (shimmer medallion gold)
Here is a look that I did the other day using this palette. I wanted to play around with the gold, yellow, red, and blue tones in this palette. So I used over half of the palette on this one look.
This palette has the perfect combination of color and neutral shades. So if you want to get more adventurous you definitely can with this Afrique palette.
