I can’t believe this month and year are almost over, where did 2016 go? I swear my roommate, Rose, and I just moved into our townhouse we’re renting. And possibly in five months time we might be moving again to an apartment or smaller townhouse. Well maybe not an apartment, I’m pretty sure Pixie would get us kicked out. She has to literally comment on every movement so being able to hear the neighbors all the time would drive her wild. Unlike November this one isn’t going to be as long. Or hopefully won’t be as long.
Pixie has also been going stir crazy for most of the month as it’s been below zero in Minnesota so I can’t take her for walks or to the dog park. Also with it getting dark so early and I get home when it’s pitch black, it’s a little difficult going for walks in our neighbor as I’m not walking through the woods when it’s night time. I’ve watched enough CSI and Criminal Minds to know that is a terrible idea.
To start off the month, I added the shop section to my blog. This is going to be a place where you can find any products that I’ve mentioned in my blog posts all in one place, as well as photo packs that I have created. Currently I only have the Winter Photo Pack, I have revealed some of the photos in my Instagram as well as been using them in some of my posts this December. If you want one, check out the shop page!
Another thing I have been doing all month is lighting four candles that I got last year: a soy candle from Typo, Yankee Candle’s Gingerbread Maple, Scented Candle’s Vanilla Toddy, and Scented Candle’s Sugar Plum. Which I included in a candle haul last year. I’m actually going to be really sad as these will for sure be all gone when this month is complete. So expect another haul next year. As well as drinking tons of hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon sprinkled on top inspired by Once Upon a Time as I just finished watching the fifth season. And basically living in my onesie whenever I’m not at work.
My roommate, Rose, and I also launched our shared blog called “Rose & Mae“, which is all about anything nerdy from comic books to video games to movies/shows based upon them. As well as other fandoms that we both really enjoy. We do not have a specific day or time we are posting on this blog at this time but I actually kind of like that as I don’t feel stressed out. And I can just write about anything I want that doesn’t necessarily fit in with this blog. Like all the video games that I’m obsessed with and all my thoughts/theories that I have about them. Along with the creation of this blog, we renamed my gaming channel from MaePolzineGames to “Rose & Mae“… now I can’t update the custom URL for the channel but at least the header matches. I still do gameplays on the channel, but we can also just use the channel for other things if we want to like unboxing our LootCrates. And as I’ve been playing the games mainly on the weekends, I actually can manage to post daily on that YouTube account at 2:00 PM CST/CDT. Which is something I’m super happy about. Being 100% honest, I do not edit the gameplays at all. If I had more time I would love to put more personal touches on it, but I don’t have that time right now.
