Life Lately: February 2020

This month I’ve been kind of offline, mainly as A LOT has been going on. Since, I haven’t done one of these in ages, I thought I would share what’s I’ve been up to.

Moving Offices

The company I work for decided very much last minute to move offices. Being service manager, might I had to help deal with the technicalities of moving in a week’s notice. Not only that, but we decided to shift from having the majority of staff working at the office in Downtown Minneapolis to work from home (I’m one of those individuals who now work from home). So, I had to move my entire office home, and rearrange to make it work. I’ve only worked at home one week so far, and I still don’t think I have it set up right. Purely because I am also using the same desk for my personal, gaming computer.

Focusing on Art

Something I’ve always enjoyed doing since I was a little girl was art, from drawing to painting. And I got out of the habit of doing that. So, I thought I would make it a point to focus on that this month. In part, one of the things I wanted to do was refresh a bunch of my old paintings that I was no longer in love with. Or pieces of art that just reminded me of things that I don’t want to focus on like ex-boyfriends who forced me to change my something on one of the pieces.

Here are a few of my recent pieces:

Wisdom Teeth Removal

I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed. This is LONG overdue. I was warned years ago that they were not going to make it, then my anxiety led me not to go into the dentist. And stupidly when I knew my wisdom teeth were dead and I have cavities, I got a teeth whitening set. Which did get rid of my yellow-ish teeth but make them feel terrible. So, I stopped using that. It wasn’t the whitening set’s fault. I blame myself for that. And once I get my teeth fixed the rest of the way will go back to using it. As I mentioned, I had all of my wisdom teeth removed in one go. No, I did not take pictures of it nor film a video as I did not get seduction for this. And also, there are some things I don’t think need sharing passed I had this done.

Once I heal, I’m really excited to be able to eat without sweets, hot or cold items setting off my back teeth. My wisdom teeth really hated those, and now they’re gone. They all came out easily, and one fell into my sweatshirt which was fun. According to the dentist the easier they come out, the better the recovery so here’s hoping that’s true.

Love ya,
