Metropolis Unbagging | Ipsy Glambag January 2017

This month's Ipsy Glambag is inspired by the cities from the design to reflect skyscrapers to the products that are perfect for uptown, downtown, or where you're at this month. After last month's bag that fell flat I had high expectations that this bag had to be even better. And I am happy to say that it did! All the products are cruelty free and something that I can see myself using on a very regular basis.

Trust Fund Beauty Lip Gloss in Method to Madness

As I have never heard of this brand before, I did a little digging and found that this brand is 100% vegan, cruelty free, Paraben Free, and GMO Free. So that's a major plus on my list. The lip gloss is $18, Method to Madness is a pink-beige shade. These are very moisturizing which is perfect for these winter months.

Pur-lisse blue lotus seed 5-in-1 mud mask & Exfoliant

I've only ever tried one product from them in the past which was the blue lotus moisturizer that did wonders from my skin. So I was excited to see this inside of my glambag. This mud mask/exfoliant is a 10 minutes facial treatment designed with blue lotus seeds, white clay, bamboo, ginger, white tea, and mushroom extract. It brightens, detoxifies, tigthens, and soothes skin while providing a gentle exfoliation. Over time it helps improve skin texture and leaves you glowing. Some other benefits of this product are: anti-inflammatory, purify pores, and detox the skin. The full size is 2.5 fl oz and costs $52.

Pacifica Blushious in Wildrose

This is a coconut and rose infused cheek color that leaves you soft, translucent, and flattering cheek color. Wildrose has a subtle pink and peach undertone that creates a natural blush look. Full size is 0.05 oz and costs $12.

TheBalm cosmetics in Bahama Mama

I have tried other theBalm products in the past, but never one of their bronzer. Which is something I really want to test out since learning that Benefit is not cruelty free as their Hoola bronzer was my daily go to bronzer. So I have high hopes for this bronzer. At full size this costs $20, whereas the Hoola Bronzer in comparison is $29 at full size.

Ciate London Geology Top Coat

I love Ciate London products. If you've been reading my blog for a while you will know I'm currently obsessed with their fierce flicks liquid eyeliner. And I haven't tried any of their nail polish previously. But I need to find more cruelty free polishes to replace the Essie nail polishes that I was using previously. Now this isn't a nail polish in itself where it has color but I can get a lovely top coat to make other nail polishes last longer as if they were gel. This top coat is designed to last 10 days of high gloss shine. One bottle of the top coat is $17.
