The Pop Culture Download #3: Stranger Things, The Dark Artifices, and More

Happy Saturday everyone!

Hope everyone’s week was nice, I spent the week moving into my new apartment. I prepped this in advanced so there would be something to go up for you guys. I’ll have another post going up tomorrow or the following day all about how everything went with the move and then we’ll really have The Apartment Diaries series in full swing as I get things set up. I’m extremely excited about this.

So here is my week through reading, music, shows, and more…

STRANGER THINGS

Credit: Netflix

I finished the entire third season of Stranger Things, I have a few thoughts and instead of doing a long post I thought I would just do bullet style. So here are some of my opinions on the season:

If you have seen the third season of Stranger Things, what did you think of it without giving spoilers away for those that haven’t seen it yet?

WHERE I’M AT WITH READING

I have finished reading The Mortal Instruments series for the fourth time. And can finally say I’m moving onto The Dark Artifices. Which I have had the books for almost a month now but have not dug into, mainly as I wasn’t sure about shifting over to new characters. I’ve heard good things about it so I’m going to give it a shot.

I don’t do book reviews, not really anyways, so if that’s something you would be interested in let me know. I didn’t really do one with The Mortal Instruments as I more did posts comparing the books to Freeform’s show Shadowhunters.

MUSIC THAT’S BEEN ON REPEAT

This week I’ve been returning to my emo or middle/high school roots with music. So that means a lot of Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and Panic at the Disco. As well as other songs along the same lines as I’ve been unpacking everything into the new place. Unlike the previous weeks of these, I don’t have a particular song to share.

GOT ANY RECOMMENDATIONS? OR WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN INTO LATELY?

Love ya,

Mae Polzine
