That’s my mantra for 2020. Not only is it a new year but it’s a new decade, so my goal is just to be the best me that’s possible. I’m not making a resolution but rather some goals that I’d like to achieve. Some of these will be things I want to achieve for this year and others are some that I want to accomplish before the conclusion of the 20s.
Submit a Book to be Published – I love writing and in 2019, I wrote a book I’m actually insanely proud of that I would actually like to see published. So, instead of a goal to get published as I don’t know if that would happen, my goal is just to submit it and see where it goes. Maybe it gets picked up, maybe it doesn’t but at least I actually give it a try at the next step.
Reach 1,000 followers on Instagram– I know its a bit of a long shot as I’m only at 390, but I would love to grow my audience on there. Especially since I’ve been working on doing more creative looks that take hours to complete. While I do enjoy doing this as a hobby,, I can’t say I wouldn’t like to reach that milestone.
Blog twice to three times a week – I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things after being away from the blog for the better part of last year. And I want to be realistic with my time, so my goal is at least post between 2-3 times a week.
Get my teeth fixed – This is something I’ve put off for far too long at this point and my teeth need serious assistance from cavities to be filled, dead teeth to remove, and veneers on a few to make them look nice again.
Start running – My mom and I have a goal that this summer we’re going to do 5K runs, multiple of them which means I need to get my butt in gear. I’ve been getting better about working out, so this is just another step in my fitness plans.
