NYX Cosmetics recently released a brand new foundation with 45 shades with a huge variety perfect for any shade. And I recently decided to part ways with the Hourglass Vanish Foundation as it wasn’t sitting on my skin nicely anymore. So I decided to pick up the Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Foundation to see if I would love that foundation instead of the one I parted ways with.
I got the shades Porcelain and Light Porcelain, as I thought it would be perfect for both in the summer and winter since that’s coming up in the next few months. This foundation is lightweight and waterproof. Apparently this foundation is non-comedogenic and suitable for normal, oily, combination, and sensitive skin types. And it costs $14.99 for 1.0 oz of product, which is on the upper side of drugstore products but not quite mid-range or luxury priced. Which seems to be a trend with a lot of new products from NYX.
So I thought I would push this foundation to the test over the three day weekend by wearing it to a baseball game, the state fair where it was insanely hot to the point each of us almost collapsed of heat exhaust, and just for an entire day straight. The foundation applies smoothly and has a matte finish that stays matte all day long. Now I didn’t try to wear the foundation for 24 hours straight, but I didn’t know it falling apart or breaking up through any of the tests. I also didn’t notice it settling in any of my fine lines like I tend to get with other foundations. And that’s even if I don’t set the foundation. Overall, I really loved this foundation.
