Outfit of the Day: Floral and Stripes

My sister and I haven’t gone shopping together in ages mainly as of late because we keep fighting over who gets to purchase a particular outfit especially if we go to the same place. But last week, we decided to just attempt to go mainly so she could exchange a few tops. But we ended up trying on a bunch of outfits, and she bought me a few as an early birthday present considering for my actual birthday we’re getting tattoos… but each paying for our own. Can’t wait for another tattoo!

Anyways… one of the shirts she got me was this floral and stripe oversized t-shirt from Maurice’s. And I just had to share it as it’s so stinky cute! Typically I’m not into floral designs but these are more leaves as compared to flowers. Plus I love tying the top in the front, which also was the way Maurice’s styled it but you can untie it if you want. Though I don’t think I will do that at least not in the spring. I also just love how you could style it different and wear it year round.

I didn’t have anyone around who could take the picture so enjoy these lovely mirror pictures… I so need to get a tripod that can hold my phone so these would be nicer quality. And my camera tripod also has my ring light which is not the easiest thing to set up on the go plus has all the cords and cables for the ring light. If only I didn’t put my other tripod in the storage unit when I moved temporarily… oh well we’ll make due for now.

ColourPop I Think I Love You Look 2To pair the shirt, I decided to wear one of my favorite pair of black jeans and a new pair of knee high black riding boots that I got the other week when my previous knee high boots of several years decided to bite the dust. I’m also wearing all of my staple jewelry: tattoo style choker, Anna Saccone Taurus rose gold necklace (though you can’t really see it in any of the pictures), two faux-diamond earrings, and a rose gold hoop nose piercing. As far as makeup, I was wearing the following:

  • Eyeshadow: ColourPop I Think I Love You Palette
  • Lips: ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Lightweight
  • Eyeliner: Wet n Wild Skinny Liquid Liner
  • Mascara: Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara
  • Concealer: Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Concealer in Fair Neutral
  • Brows: ColourPop Brow Boss Pencil in Dark Brown and Brow Boss Gel

I did get a few other items from Maurice’s, so I might do a few other outfits of the day using those in the near future. Hope you all have an awesome day!

Love ya,

Mae Polzine
