— Ipsy

If you have never tried or heard the glambag from Ipsy before, it is a monthly subscription that costs $10 and you get 5 products every month that matches your preferences you entered into your beauty profile. You can also earn points that can be used to purchase other products through writing reviews on the items you received and referring others to Ipsy. Note: Additional products tend to sell out fast when they become available, from what I have seen in the past.

TONYMOLY I'm Real Sheet Masks in Green Tea and Lotus

Tony Moly is not Cruelty Free, they test on animals where required to by law. So though I am going to try these just because I did receive them, I will not be purchasing these in the future.

Claims about this product from Ipsy:

  • Keep it as real as the classic JLo jam with the same name. The three-layer pulp sheet masks are soaked with enriched hydrating essence that deliver moisture to revive dry and tired skin.

  • There’s a Buddhist saying: “No mud, no lotus.” There’s no mud involved in these masks but the results will be just as serene! Lotus flower extract will make your skin radiant and luminous.

  • The watery essence of green tea brightens and purifies the skin with antioxidant properties.

  • Stash your masks in the fridge for an experience that’s literally cool!

Ciate London Wonderwand Gel-Kohl Hybrid Liner in Black

Claims about this product from Ipsy:

  • Black liners are a dime a dozen, but we’ve never seen one like this. TBH, this *wonderwand* is giving us maj Wonder Woman vibes. (Like the kind of wonder woman who can create an amazing cat eye and make it look effortless.)
  • You can literally create ANY eye look (from slept in and smudgy to razor sharp flicks) with this magic wand. It’s double-ended with a rich, inky black kohl formula on one side and a blending/smudging brush on the other.
  • Real talk: We expect a LOT from our liners, and we simply won’t stand for anything less than long-wearing. We wore this one to our BFFs wedding and it stayed on point all. damn. day.

Winky Lux Double Whip in Angel Food

As this is a new brand that I have just discovered, I did some research into them and found they are cruelty free, paraben free, and phthalate free. I have added them to the cruelty free guide.

Claims about this product from Ipsy:

  • Super creamy. Matte finish. Lasts forev. When it comes to what we look for in liquid lippies, this one takes the cake.
  • It’s loaded with avocado oil to keep our kissers super smooth, soft, and smoochable.
  • We’re sweet on the pretty neutral shade that looks fab with all your #overeasy summer lewks!

mPrincess Pressed Eyeshadow in Biscuit

This is another new brand to me, so after some research I found that they are cruelty free. As well as all their packaging is made up of recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. I have added them to the cruelty free guide.

Claims about this product from Ipsy:

  • Hello, most perfect neutral shadow EVER! This pretty, pearly, wear-anywhere shade looks gorg on its own, but also makes a badass base to transform any shadow into a more dramatic finish.
  • The super soft, velvety formula goes on ohhhh-so smooth. Consider it the girl boss of blendable shadows!
  • Never fear the fallout. This pressed powder formula won’t mess up your makeup and stays exactly where you want it.

Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer

I already have this product from Tarte along with a blush/highlight duo in my collection. So even though mine was completely broken in the mail, I'm ok with it. I might submit a thing with Ipsy for a new one since it was completely smashed on the inside but as I have one of my own I might not. This bronzer gives a nice subtle glow to the skin and has been one of my favorites since I first started using makeup in general for anything more than eyeliner and mascara.

Claims about this product from Ipsy:

  • This multi-use waterproof bronzer gives a hint of shimmer that flatters a variety of skin tones, and fakes a post-vacay glow, even if you’ve been stuck inside an office all day.

  • Go for the glow! Build on as much or as little pigment as you’d like. Get “walked from my house to my car” or “baked on the beach for a week” coloring, it’s your call.

  • Amazonian clay helps improve skin clarity, brighten, soothe, and fight signs of aging.

Since going cruelty free, I go back and forth on if I want to stay subscribed to the bag. As all the products they include in the bags aren't cruelty-free. But the mass majority are. Normally I just donate or give away the products that aren't cruelty-free. I haven't decided what to do yet, let me know your thoughts in the comments.
