I have seen a lot of positive comments around the internet either on other blogs or on YouTube that the Physician Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer was amazing. So I thought after many months of hearing this that I would try it out now that I’m in a bronzer mood for this Spring/Summer as last summer I sure as hell wasn’t. Plus I haven’t tried anything from Physician Formula even though they are available in the drug store and are cruelty free. This bronzer is available for $15 so it’s not the cheapest item in the world, but if I could use it as a replacement for my Benefit Hoola Bronzer (which is not cruelty free) then I was going to give it a go. As I needed a replacement.

Now this bronzer doesn’t leave my skin looking orange which a lot of bronzer do, so that was a major plus right away. I also love that it’s made with Murumuru Butter, Cupuacu Butter, and Tucuma Butter from the Amazon which gives your skin vitamins/fatty acids that leave it feeling hydrated and soft. Plus the bronzer is super silky and applies like a dream… as long as you don’t use the little sponge applicator that it comes with. I also enjoyed that this powder comes with a mirror underneath with the sponge so if you’re applying makeup on the go you can use the mirror on the inside of the packaging.

They do have a light version which is supposed to be more peach toned, so I might end up going to get that one as well for in the winter. But for the mean time I’m going to use the original. Plus the original gives my skin a nice sunkissed look without making it overly obvious that I have bronzer on. As other bronzers I have tried in my attempts to replace the Benefit Hoola bronzer have lead me to. So I’m very pleased with this bronzer by Phyisican Formula, and would purchase again.

What’s your favorite drugstore bronzer?
