Pixi by Petra Beauty Blush Duo Review – Rose Gold & Peach Honey

I got these blush & highlighter duos from Pixi by Petra (Pixi Beauty) in different subscription boxes over the years. And I love wearing them, they give the perfect lit-from-within look. Each duo includes two super silky powders: one that gives you a subtle glow and one that gives you a natural flush. They come in two shades: Rose Gold and Peach Honey. Each are infused with vitamin E and mica, which makes them hydrating, long-wearing, and light-diffusing.

I generally reach for the Peach Honey shade as that is the most flattering on my skin tone compared to the Rose Gold. And each Beauty Duo costs $18 and comes with a Kabuki brush. As I got these through a subscription box, I did not receive the Kabuki brush so I can’t speak to it’s quality. But the blush and highlighters are amazing. If I’m going to wear blush, these are one of the first things I reach for in my collection. I typically swirl the two shades together when applying it to my cheeks but you can wear them separately.

Overall Thoughts

I love these blushes and would really recommend them if you like that natural or subtle looking makeup. You can wear it on those “No Makeup” Makeup Days or even pull if off on more dramatic days. It really just depends on your makeup mood. If I ever run out of either of these I would for sure purchase it for myself.
