It should come with no surprise that I love my Ipsy subscription. I've had my subscription for over a year and never had a bag that I wasn't happy with. A few items here or there that I questioned but not enough where I wanted to end my subscription. Plus a subscription to Ipsy Glambag is only $10 a month. And always has great items inside an insanely cute pouch that can be used as a makeup bag or clutch. This month's Ipsy Glambag was no exception as it is an amazing red-orange clutch with a ticket design. Which I love as it's super quirky.
This month's Glambag included three brands I've never tried or heard of before, and two that I have and completely love everything I've tried from them. And since I haven't used some of these brands before I had to do my research on if they are cruelty free or not. Because if they aren't, they will be heading over to my sister.
Theorie Marula Oil Transforming Hair Serum
Normally I don't use hair oil or serums, though I probably should to be honest. The full size of this bottle is 3.4 fl oz and costs $26. You apply this product to soften the cuticle, strengthen brittleness, and protect from heat styling and environmental stress. Which is something that my hair really needs after basically bleaching my hair lighter. However, Theorie is not cruelty free so this product will be traveling over to my sister.
Adesse New York Cupuacu Butter Balm
This is a cruelty free and vegan brand. And this product costs $24. This lip balm soothes, moistens, and hydrates your dry lips which mine definitely are especially since this month in Minnesota has gone from sunny 60 degrees weather to snowing to raining all in the span of one day. Don't be frigthened by the bright pink, it's actually super sheer and has a soft ginger mint smell.
ColourPop Crème Gel Pencil in Swerve
I have several gel pencils already from ColourPop and love them! They are so pigmented and last all day long. So I was really excited to see this item in my Glambag this month. The shade I got is a matte black called Swerve. Each liner is only $5.
Peek Beauty Eye Will Stay Naturally Long Wearing Eyeshadow
Peek Beauty is cruelty free. They don't sell the tins individually, but for the entire collection of eyeshadows which has four tins, it's $25. This particular shade is number 250K8. And it's a gorgeous bronze color. For some reason I decided to swatch it on my finger instead of a normal swatching location.
Luxie Beauty Dreamcatcher Precision Foundation Brush
I love Luxie brushes and seriously want to get the rest of the collection so getting another one of the brushes, especially a brush I haven't gotten before makes me super happy. I don't know if I'm going to actually use this brush for foundation as I don't apply foundation with a brush, but I will find some use for it. This brush is $23.
Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro-Line
This next brush isn't technically part of my glambag of the month. I used my points from Ipsy to get this one. Typically the brush costs $26. But I'm actually most likely going to use this for concealer. As I have plenty of other brushes for eyeshadows but not a great concealer brush, and the size of this one would work perfectly to apply concealer under my eyes. Marsk is cruelty free and organic.
If you have an Ipsy subscription, what did you get in your glambag? Or if you've tried any of these brands let me know what you think of them!
