For one of my recent live streams over on Twitch, I turned makeup into a candy/sweet. This took about 4 hours in total to complete, and I got a bit carried away with the look. But I absolutely love how it turned out. This look was a lot of different eyeshadow palettes and almost every one of MadeYewLook Body Paints. My desk was an absolute mess afterward, but it was totally worth it.

I haven’t done a makeup photo diary or post in a while. I’ve done creative makeup looks for Caturday (a thing I do every Saturday with two of my streaming friends: Foxtail and Cassii over on Twitch), but I just haven’t made specific posts about them. Sometimes I don’t remember to post them on Instagram though the most of them are. But this one is just creative makeup for the sake of creative makeup. I wasn’t trying to do it for anything. I was just in the mood and picked one of the looks I had in my Inspo folder. This pastel rainbow clown look inspired by @yannalinnaa and @jamescharles.

Here is a look I did today. Joined some other streamers (Foxtail, Cassii, and Louise also known as Bunny) over on Twitch for a community event we’re calling Caturday. I did this look two weeks ago, and figured why not share it on the blog. I’m in a bit of a reading slump after finishing A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas. Like I can’t pick up another book without my brain circling back to that one. So anything book related is on pause for the time being until my brain gets over it. Since I have already reviewed the formula of two palettes from Ace Beaute, I figured I do something different with the next palette which is the Vintage Dawn palette by doing three different looks using only this palette. This palette was released with the Scarlet Dusk palette, but unlike that palette this one isn’t as monotoned. However, it does include 12 shadows that were inspired by sunrises around the world (though I’m not sure what sunrises have green not that I’m complaining as I love the shade) for $34.99.

One of my favorite Christmas movies of all time is How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey. I could honestly quote that movie all season long and even after that. So, when I saw Peachcait over on Instagram created a look inspired by the movie in an ornament, I knew I had to do my own version of it. While hers is half of her face, I kept mine as added detail to the look. Mainly as I can’t wear colored contacts and I wanted to do something I little bit different.
