Turned Myself into Princess Zelda from Tears of the Kingdom Using Body Paint

It’s been a minute since I’ve body painted, since my eight-year-old ringlight died. But I finally have working lights! As my webcam keeps glitching, I can’t actually record it right now. But, at the very least, I can paint in my free time. And since I’ve been addicted with playing…
View PostThe Eyeshadow Palettes That I Still Gravitate Towards

It's been years since I reviewed makeup, mainly as I found that I had developed a collector mindset with makeup rather than using the palettes I already had. And while my reviews at the time were honest, I didn't appreciate those palettes as much. As I was always onto the next palette to get the next review out. So, after I stopped reviewing makeup and moved away from watching every makeup brand release, I found myself appreciating what I had more. Plus, those palettes that were great really stood out as I still find myself reaching for those palettes even years later. …
View PostThe 4 Eyeshadow Palettes I Swear by for Body Painting

I love to body paint, but the way I do these looks, the body paint is just a base. The look doesn't come to life without me using shadows. It just gives a look so much dimension. And while yes, I know many body painters can achieve a similar look using paints alone but I find it easier for myself to use shadows over the paint once it's dried. For reference, I use water-activated body paints not cream or alcohol.…
View PostTurned Myself into Lara Croft from Tomb Raider

I've been playing the Tomb Raider series (2013 ones) over on Twitch, so I felt it was only right that I turn myself into Lara Croft using body paint and makeup. I swear Lara should not be alive at the end of these games. It's becoming a point I keep pointing out all the medical injuries as I play these games. Don't get me wrong, I'm having a blast playing them but still, Lara should not be alive. So, I wanted to reflect that in this body paint but including her injuries and the ripped-up tank top she's rocking by the end of the game.…

This last month has been a rollercoaster. It started off with me not being in the mood to read anything new, and that kind of continued all month. Don't get me wrong, I did read some things as you'll see but mostly I just read segments of previously read books. And I didn't play any video games as I focused the month on Twitch with body painting. Well, I did play Dreamlight Valley but it was still less gaming than I normally do overall.…

How is the month over already? I swear this year is flying by... and dragging at the same time. It was a combination of training, customer support, twitch streaming, reading an armful of books, and bodypainting. So, you know, the usual.…
View PostThe Boston Travel Diaries: Get Ready With Me

Day Two of working in the MA office, and I couldn’t get this idea out of my head. So, we’re doing a get ready with me. I’m not a morning person (like at all), so I make sure my makeup routine when I have to get up and go places is real quick. If I can put it off until I’m more awake, I will and then I take more time with it. But there’s none of that on office days.…
View PostWonder Woman DC Comics Collab Body Paint

I enjoy body painting, it's a chill hobby that I like to do at least once a week. I never really body paint with the goal of getting all the attention online. I just upload them to my Instagram because 'Hey, I spent hours on this. It needs to be saved somewhere and someone might enjoy it too.' So, when I got invited to join Mrs. Lovecraft's DC collab, I was all for it. Joining a bunch of creators, many of whom I'm mutual stream friends with, who were going to all do a body paint theme together sounded like a lot of fun. I debated for a good while on which DC character I was going to do and decided that Wonder Woman would be a lot of fun. …

I've officially been at my new job for a full month and have spent the entire time training. It's been interesting, as it's felt like I've been at school for a month instead of actually working. There have been homework assignments, presentations, and demonstrations of knowledge. I'll be curious to see what happens once I get into actually working tasks/issues. But so far it's been non-stop learning. I finished off the month by giving a demonstration of what I had learned thus far and will have several more of these next month. I think it went pretty well, and I found it interesting how to go into the presentation, as it was different from how I gave trainings in the past.…
View PostProducts I Commonly Use when Body Painting

I love body painting. It's been something that I've gotten better at over the course of the last year to two years. And that's mainly been due to practicing and doing a different look every single week. I would say at this point I primarily only reach for my makeup when I'm doing a body paint look. I still do daily makeup when I know I'm going to be on a video conference call or leaving my apartment, but that's pretty minimal. I don't really do the full glam thing anymore or test out a bunch of products like I used to prior to the pandemic. My habits around makeup have completely changed. So, I thought I would discuss the products I typically use for body painting since it usually ends up being the same things I reach for every time.…
