Video Games I Have Spent the Most Time Playing

I saw this idea from Angelika Oles and thought it would be a fun idea. Most of the games featured on this list are my all-time favorite games. By no means is this every game I've ever played or the true total amount. As I've switched computers several times over the years, and the Nintendo Switch gives a rough estimate with only 20 games displayed. One of the games on this list wasn't displayed but I based the time on how long the game takes on average. If I had the stats for how much time I played The Sims 2 and 3 those would be on here too, but sadly I don't know the answer to that as I played on my dad's laptop and a computer I left behind years ago. Plus, those were played on physical disks so I don't have those stats. I also grouped games of a series together as I feel that gives a more accurate portrayal of the time I spent in those worlds.…
View PostFirst Impression of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Nintendo has finally released the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game was released called The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. And takes place roughly three years after the events in the previous game, so fans that played the previous game will see familiar areas but with a twist of the addition of sky and underground areas. Since, I haven't finished the game (and won't for some time), I figured I would give a first impression of this game versus giving a full review. So, there's not going to be a lot regarding the plot in this post.…
View PostLegend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Divine Beast Vah Naboris

I've recently been live-streaming over on Twitch, and started playing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild again. And it's been nine months since the last time I played, but I finally got back to it. And have every intention of finishing the game. The other day, I just finished Divine Beast Vah Naboris. This is the last Divine Beast I had left to defeat/handle in the game. It's also probably the hardest of the divine beasts.…
View PostMy Favorite Video Games of the Past Decade (2010s)

Since the decade is coming to a close and I've played a lot of video games in the last ten years, I thought I'd go down my list of favorite games that came out in the last decade or that I heavily played during that time period. These are not in order, as I enjoy these all for different reasons.…
View PostLegend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Divine Beast Vah Medoh

It's been a while since I have played Legend of Zelda as I didn't have time to play a lot of video games over the last year. But now that my massive work project is done, I decided to pick back up Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Last time I played, I left off on the approach to Divine Beast Vah Medoh which is the bird Divine Beast over the Rito Village. Medoh has been calm for 100 years until Link woke back up, similar to the other Divine Beasts.…
View PostLegend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Link’s House

Still on my Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild kick since I've been playing it quite a bit. Haven't gone to the other two divine beasts, so I ended up doing the Hylian Homeowner sidequest. Which gives Link a home to keep his prized possessions, a set place to cook and sleep.…
View PostLegend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Divine Beast Vah Rudania

Just the other day I got through the second of the Divine Beasts so I wanted to do another overview. Not an exact walkthrough of the dungeon as I think half the fun in a dungeon is figuring out the puzzle for yourself. Rudania is the lizard Divine Beast in Eldin Region's Death Mountain. Rudania has been calm for 100 years until Link woke back up, similar to the other Divine Beasts, and has been making the volcano erupt and disrupting the mining to the lower mines.…
View PostLegend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Divine Beast Vah Ruta

I was going to do one post overall on the Divine Beasts, but I haven't done them all yet so I thought I would just do one post on each beast after I've faced it in the game for myself. I have seen the entire game to completion multiple times on YouTube, so I do know the other beasts. But for sake of checking it 100, I'm going to hold off until I've done the dungeon myself… literally just repeated myself but I'm going to leave that be. Now this isn't a full walkthrough of the dungeon or the entire quest starting in the Zora's Domain. More just an overview of the Divine Beast Vah Ruta.…
View PostLegend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Korok Hunting

Something I really love in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is hunting for Korok seeds. At first I didn't play too much attention to it and just traveled with my horse to get to places quickly. Then after completing Vah Ruta Divine Beast, I decided to stop and go by foot so I could experience everything. And not miss anything including all of the hidden Korok seeds. Which you can get all around Hyrule by performing specific actions. These seeds can be traded with Hestu for increased inventory space for weapons, shields, and bows. There are a total 900 seeds, if these are all turned in you get a gift from Hetsu.…
View PostLegend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Armor Comparison and Where to Find Them

I have been playing a lot of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in my spare time after work. One thing I find really interesting in the game is the armor as when you have the full set and upgrade it at a Great Fairy Foundation you get a bonus. Plus unlike other RPG I've played it doesn't take up inventory space. Like you don't have to get rid of it to free up space for new armor... I did not realize this when I first started playing. I sold off my first outfit as I thought you had to. But no, you don't. So I thought I would go over each of the armor sets that come in the game and where to find them. This is only focusing on the base games without amiibos or DLCs as I do not have either.…
