Things I’m Doing in 2019 When it Comes to Finances

After six months of being freed from an apartment that cost me an entire paycheck every month, I wouldn’t say I’ve managed to check up with finances or debt that came about during that time period and beforehand. In part, this is due to not making drastic changes after leaving my part-time job due to time commitments with my full-time salary job slightly before that occurred. I don’t want to go into what all happened with that apartment/ex-roommate situation anymore. So now starting 2019, I’m going to be making changes to get back on track with everything, knock out debt, and somehow manage to move out into a place of my own again.

Blogging on a Budget

A lot of times when blogging, you sometimes feel like you need to improve your equipment or spend a lot of money to make a blog. But you don’t actually need to do that. I mean, you can if you want to, but you don’t have to. Especially when you follow a lot of blogs that have been turning to more luxury items. I know I feel into that mindset and felt like I was struggling to keep up, because I didn’t have the budget for it. But there are a lot of things you can do instead of following that trend, because all you truly need to blog is yourself, some type of camera whether it’s the one on your phone or something else, and platform.

Tips for Managing a Budget

So since moving out and graduating college, I have to pay a lot of big bills including two giant student loans. So having a budget and sticking to it is severely needed or I will not be able to pay my bills or save up for unforeseen events in the future. These are the tips I live by when managing a budget.
